Guest Reviews & Ratings
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were incredibly clean and even better than I expected from the pictures. The location was amazing, being right on the streetcar line made exploring New Orleans so convenient, and it was nice and quiet at night for a great night's sleep. However, being close to the laundry room/supply closet with just a curtain was a bit odd. The service was top-notch with friendly staff who provided lots of valuable tourist information and even held our bags until we were ready to head to the airport. The dining experience was a letdown, but overall, I had a wonderful stay.
I stayed at the hotel a few days before New Year's Eve. The rooms were unique despite not being suitable for handicapped guests; however, I did notice some noise coming from outside. The service was great and friendly, though they might have had issues with the hot water heater. The location, between the Canal and St Charles street cars, ensured a quiet night's sleep even though it was near a previous unfortunate incident. The dining experience was disappointing, but the hotel did offer Sicilian pastries. Overall, the hotel had unique rooms and friendly service, but the dining options could be improved.
The hotel exceeded my expectations with its clean and tidy rooms featuring kitchen facilities, although the actual appearance differed slightly from the pictures. The service was a mixed bag, with helpful staff but a hiccup when I inquired about the local disaster in NOLA. The location was great for exploring, despite being a bit overpriced and slightly sketchy after dark. The dining options were below par, but the overall experience was satisfactory.
